Do you take insurance?
Insurance is not accepted, however if you have Out-Of-Network benefits (OON) through a PPO, a monthly superbill can be provided upon request to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits. Contacting your insurance provider is recommended to fully understand what reimbursement options may be available to you in advance. Clients are also often able to use their HSA/FSA card to cover services with pre-tax dollars.
Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
I offer in-person talk therapy sessions at the office in Pasadena, CA, and equine therapy sessions at an off-site location in Pasadena, CA. Virtual sessions are also available to any client based in California.
How do I schedule a session?
To get started, you can call, text, or email to set up a free 15-minute consultation. I typically respond within 24–48 hours. During the consultation, we’ll talk briefly about what you're looking for in therapy, I’ll share how I work, and you can ask any questions you may have. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first in-person or virtual session. If not, I’m happy to refer you to someone who may be a better match. Once we confirm a date and time, I’ll email you the intake forms. These need to be completed before your first session, and payment is due 24 hours in advance. New client sessions are typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, on the same day and time each week to support consistency.
What are your fees?
The current rate for new clients is... Individual Therapy: $200 / 50-minute session Couples Therapy: $225 / 50-minute session or $337 / 90-minute session Therapy with Horses / Equine Therapy: $300 / 90-minute session
What is your cancellation policy?
Therapy is a commitment. When you begin therapy, you will be given a dedicated time slot that is held exclusively for you. It's expected that clients take both therapist’s time and their commitment to therapy seriously, but life happens and unforeseen events occur. Because of this I have a 24 hr. cancellation policy and a once a year "Freebie". After the one time "Freebie", clients are responsible for payment for their normally scheduled session time, regardless of whether they attend or not. In addition, best efforts are made in accommodating, rescheduling and moving sessions when scheduling conflicts occur.
Do you have evening or weekend availability?
Evening and weekend therapy sessions are not currently available.
